These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Wasf Chrome Extension (“Extension”, “Service”).

By installing or using the Extension, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Extension immediately.

By installing or using the Extension, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Extension after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of the Service

Wasf is an AI-powered Chrome Extension designed to assist Salla merchants in generating product titles and descriptions.

The Extension:

• Works inside the Salla product editor interface
• Processes user-provided product input text
• Uses AI models via secure backend services to generate content
• Helps users improve product listing quality and efficiency

Important Clarifications

Independent Service

Wasf is an independent tool and is not affiliated with:

• Salla
• OpenAI
• Google Chrome

External Processing

AI generation is performed through secure backend services (Edge Functions), which route requests to third-party AI providers.

This architecture is used to ensure:

• Secure handling of requests
• Controlled API usage
• Protection of service integrity

3. User Responsibilities

By using the Extension, you agree to the following:

3.1 Appropriate Use of Input Data

You are responsible for the data you enter into the Extension, including product names and attributes.

You agree not to input:

• Customer personal data
• Sensitive financial information
• Third-party confidential business data

Important Note:

The system is designed only for product content generation and is not intended for processing sensitive or personal data unrelated to product listings.

3.2 Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

• Reviewing all AI-generated content before publishing
• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws
• Ensuring content does not violate intellectual property rights or platform policies

3.3 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account session and browser environment.

4. Subscription, Billing & Credits

The Extension operates on a credit-based system.

4.1 Credit Usage

Credits are consumed for each AI generation request, depending on operation type.

4.2 Billing Provider

Payments and subscription management are handled by a third-party billing provider (LemonSqueezy).

We only store:

• User identifier (non-sensitive ID)
• Subscription plan status

Justification:

This is required to synchronize billing status and ensure correct access to paid features.

4.3 Fair Usage

We reserve the right to adjust credit allocations or apply limitations in cases of:

• Abuse
• Automated or bot-like usage
• System integrity protection

This is done solely to ensure service availability for all users.

5. AI-Generated Content

The Extension uses artificial intelligence models to generate content.

You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete
• Outputs must be reviewed before use
• You are fully responsible for how the content is used in your store

External AI Processing

AI requests are processed through secure backend systems (Edge Functions) that forward minimal product-related data to AI providers.

Justification:

This approach ensures controlled, secure, and optimized communication with AI services while preventing direct exposure of backend infrastructure.

6. Restrictions and Prohibited Use

• Reverse engineer, modify, or interfere with the Extension
• Attempt to bypass credit or billing systems
• Use the Extension for illegal or harmful activities
• Use the system to process unrelated sensitive personal or customer data
• Interfere with Salla platform functionality outside intended product editing features

7. Intellectual Property

All rights related to the Extension (code, design, branding) belong to the developer.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Extension for:

• Personal use
• Legitimate commercial use within your store operations

8. Third-Party Services

8.1 OpenAI (AI Processing Provider)

Used to generate product titles and descriptions.

Data sent:

• Product-related input text only

No authentication data or personal identifiers are shared.

8.2 Supabase (Backend Infrastructure)

Used for:

• Authentication
• Database storage
• Credit and usage management

8.3 LemonSqueezy (Billing Provider)

Used for subscription processing and payment handling.

Data shared is limited to:

• User ID
• Subscription plan selection

8.4 Google OAuth

Used for authentication only.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Extension is provided “as is” and “as available”.

We do not guarantee:

• Accuracy of AI-generated content
• Continuous availability of the service
• Compatibility with all future updates of Salla or third-party services

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for:

• Business losses
• Data loss
• Incorrect AI outputs
• Service interruptions
• Actions taken based on generated content

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if:

• Terms are violated
• Abuse or fraud is detected
• System integrity is at risk

Users may stop using the Extension at any time by uninstalling it.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Any disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Riyadh.
